The maximum current of the electron beam reached at SOLARIS

End of January 2018 at the polish synchrotron SOLARIS in Kraków the maximum current of 500 mA at final energy of 1.5 GeV was stored in the storage ring.

One of the designed storage ring key parameters was achieved after c.a. 570 Ah of the storage ring vacuum system conditioning.

After further finishing the beamline commisioning the main goal ist now to start the user operation.

Call for proposals for access to SOLARIS end stations has been opened.

Scientists from Poland and abroad will gain access to SOLARIS synchrotron research infrastructure in October 2018. Measurements will be possible on PEEM, XAS, and UARPES end stations.
